Another benefit of this method can be better absorption of fertilizer by the roots and the fertilizer\u2019s better ventilation as well as better penetration of water through the holes around the tree&#8217;s roots.<\/p><p>The place of digging holes for deep delving of fertilizer is all around the tree one meter away from the trunk.<\/p><p>Most young and active roots are in this area. Drilling holes in this area causes the least damage to main and thick tree roots.
